You’ll begin your experience by signing in at the front desk. You will then be weighed twice to ensure the correct bungee rope is used for your jump. Next, you’ll head over to the jaw-dropping jump site: Larpool Viaduct, an incredible brick viaduct that towers over the River Esk and is surrounded by lush green countryside. The expert staff will equip you with your harness and attach the ankle straps. They’ll then perform a number of checks and double-checks on all of the equipment, before you enter the cage to be lifted up to a height of 40 metres. Look out across the countryside to Whitby Abbey, a stunning view to witness before you take the leap. Your jumpmaster will check everything again, and talk you through your jump. Finally… it’s time to take the plunge! As you jump from the bridge and soar through the air, you’ll feel quite literally on top of the world. After springing around for a while (which is great fun!) you will be slowly lowered onto the nearby boat, and you are sure to be buzzing for the rest of the day.
