London Swing Dancing and Private Partner Experience

Come dancing! This will be the most fun you have in London.
We’ll be your own private dance partner for a night out social swing dancing in London. Swing dancing, also known as "lindy hop" and "jitterbug", is the social partnered jazz dance you will have seen in movies from the 1930s and 40s.

We’ll meet you outside the venue and walk through the door with you. You will take any of the beginner's classes offered at the dance event to get a taster of the basics.

We’ll then spend an hour with you as your own private dance partner (once known as a "taxi dancer"), including teaching you a couple of moves, giving you tips and feedback to improve your dancing, build your confidence and coach you so you learn how to ask other people to dance. Once our time is over, we'll then set you off to go and enjoy dancing at the venue for the rest of the night.

Excellent for lone travellers, couples, people who want to learn to dance and meet lots of Londoners in a short space of time.

Come dancing! This will be the most fun you have in London.
No partner required. You'll join the regular weekly beginners swing dancing class of London locals to learn some of the basics and fundamentals of swing dancing. By the end of the dance class you will have some moves enabling you to go swing dancing anywhere in the world. Everyone is welcome from absolute beginners. You don't need a partner or any experience of dancing at all. Every beginners lesson starts with learning the basic footwork of a swing dancing style, then builds basic moves upon that footwork. We support you to learn how to dance, practice your basics, and think about the fundamentals of swing dancing in new ways. You will rotate partners frequently so you can meet and dance with local Londoners.
