London Royal Family History Walking Tour

This fascinating tour, full of interesting facts and tales about British monarchs will be led by me, your private Blue Badge Tour Guide (the highest qualification in the field). Walking through central London, we will see various sites associated with the royal family and world-renowned ceremonies and events. We will also admire the most famous buildings in London and discover some of the hidden treasures dotted around the city.
This tour is not scheduled to enter any venues. We will use the tube to get to St Paul cathedral.

Our tour starts in affluent Mayfair with its cocktail bars, gourmet restaurants and bespoke tailors, but also the place of residence to members of royal family.

This magnificent palace is the London residence to the royal family, famous for its Garden Parties and a place to mark important events and greet the public. This is also where the monarch holds an audience with Prime Minsters, and celebrates national and royal events.

Clarence House

This aristocratic house was a home to many members of the royal family, and we will discover the changes it has undergone within the last 100 years.

Westminster Abbey

This royal church is a place of coronation and royal family burials. It has an incredible history dated back to 960s.

Houses of Parliament

The Palace of Westminster used to be a royal palace, but now is a seat of two Houses, the House of Commons and the House of Lords.
We will unveil the process of the State Opening of Parliament and the royal family's role within this event.

This church has been a place of joyful celebrations such as royal weddings, numerous jubilees and services of prayers.

The Tower of London is not only one of the oldest castles in England, but also holds the world's most famous jewel collection, including the Imperial State Crown worn by the monarch during the State Opening of Parliament.
