London Stonehenge and Avebury Discovery Tour

Join us on a small group, 11-hour tour from London to the world-famous Stonehenge, where your guide will provide fascinating insights into the history, purpose, and mysteries of this ancient monument. We'll have an extended visit (2.5-3 hours) with a guided walk through the new visitor centre and detailed explanations of archaeological displays
Then, we’ll head north through the picturesque countryside to West Kennet Long Barrow, one of Britain’s largest and best-preserved Neolithic tombs. You’ll have the chance to explore the ancient chambers and enjoy views of the enigmatic Silbury Hill.

Next stop - Avebury, home to the world’s largest stone circle - walk freely among the massive stones. After a guided tour, you'll have time to explore the village, visit the visitor center, or relax at the thatched pub located within the circle.

We’ll then take a scenic route back to London, passing through charming villages and the English countryside. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the journey!

West Kennet Long Barrow

West Kennet Long Barrow is a striking Neolithic chambered tomb in Wiltshire, built around 3650 BC, making it older than Stonehenge and the pyramids. This long, narrow mound stretches approximately 100 meters and contains five stone burial chambers at its eastern end, where the remains of at least 46 individuals have been discovered. The barrow is constructed from earth and stone, with large standing stones marking its entrance.
