Join our quest for the Holy Grail, discovering mystic symbols, cryptic sites & secret signs along the way. Follow a trail of clues & directions sent to your mobile phone to discover intriguing truths & forgotten details buried in ancient London landmarks.
Complete your quest by reaching a secret location that hides all the answers in plain sight. And we guarantee: our quest for the grail is built on historical fact, not fiction.

This 2+ hour adventure through time is a journey, not a race. There are endless opportunities to step off the trail for breaks & refreshments or to explore points of interest. The route is chosen for its beauty, relative quiet & historical interest. Our directions are playfully disguised but easy to follow. Our clues are artfully contrived but always staring you in the face.  All you need is your phone & a bit of faith.

There is no guide to meet you: your guide is your phone! Activate your gamecode using a UK mobile number, then choose a team name & add team members. When your team is ready and assembled in Paternoster Square by Temple Bar, the Team Leader can text BEGIN to the SideWalks number to start the game.

What to expect:

YOU CANNOT ACCESS YOUR GAMECODE VIA THE TRIPADVISOR ’TICKET' LINK. IT WILL BE GENERATED MANUALLY AND SENT TO YOU BY TEXT. You don’t need a time slot: turn up and play any day, any time during daylight hours. All you need is a mobile phone with a UK number. Get an e-SIM with a UK number for as little as £5 (eg from Lycamobile). This game is for adults & teens with an interest in puzzles, history & walking.
This is an adventure walk, not a race, so move at your own pace & stop at any time for a drink or a rest or to explore a place of interest en route. Play on your own terms: don't feel you have to hurry or solve every clue. Use Google maps or text HELP, HINT or SKIP to get through the game faster.

The route is step-free, 5km, starts at Paternoster Square and ends in Covent Garden.

Activate your gamecode, choose a team name, join team members then text BEGIN to start your game. You will then receive a reply which sets the scene & tells you what to do next. You will receive cryptic directions to the next location using mainly anagrams & visual landmarks; there will be clues to solve; and all your answers will build towards a final solution to be revealed at the end of the game.
