London Bridgerton Themed Tour to Bath

Great Pulteney Street

Pulteney Street is one of the most iconic and picturesque streets in Bath. Designed by the architect John Palmer in the late 18th century, it was built between 1789 and 1793. The street is notable for its grand, Georgian architecture and its impressive length, stretching approximately 1,200 feet (about 370 meters).
The street features a uniform design with elegant townhouses, characterized by their limestone facades, large windows, and decorative details. Great Pulteney Street is often celebrated for its architectural symmetry and is considered one of the finest examples of Georgian urban planning.
At one end of the street, you'll find the beautiful Pulteney Bridge, which spans at River Avon and is lined with shops. At the other end, there's the Holburne Museum, adding cultural significance to the area
