• Suitable for a wide range of abilities – 4-5.5 hours which includes plenty of stops, leisurely pace, no mountains to climb
• No need to plan or navigate – all admin made easy: on booking receive detailed information on where to meet, parking costs and information on what to bring with you

We pass through Skelwith Bridge with a chance to pop in to Chesters, a well regarded vegan cafe, to pick up a sweet treat!

We follow the River Brathay to Colwith Force, our second waterfall of the day.

Little Langdale

Our walk then takes us through Little Langdale through farms and views.

Cathedral Quarry (Cathedral Cave)

Stang End, Little Langdale

Enter the spectacular Cathedral Cave, an old quarry site and now popular tourist spot. Appreciate the huge cavern and learn about the history of quarrying in Langdale and the Lake District. After a look around we stop for lunch overlooking Little Langdale.

Great Langdale

Pass through Great Langdale and learn about the people, culture and history, including how the valley was formed by enormous and powerful glaciers thousands of years ago!
