Private Group Tour of Royal Cambridge Colleges

King’s College Chapel is arguably the most famous building in Cambridge and is renowned world-wide for its beauty and its choir. It was founded by King Henry VI in 1441 and took one hundred years to build. Five Kings came and went during its completion. Henry’s young queen, Margaret of Anjou, founded her own college in 1448, now known as Queens‘. Many of our clients like to see both colleges on the same tour. All the colleges are closed to the public at the moment but we can still see many of their wonderful buildings from the outside. We will also see a good spread of the other main sights including Trinity College, St John's, Gonville and Caius, St Catharine's and Corpus Christi. We will also see the Old Cavendish Laboratory, the Eagle Pub, St Bene't's 11th century church, Great St.Mary's, the Senate House and Old Schools.
