After a short break you will then be driven to the remains of the largest network of concentration camps in the north of Nazi Germany. The drive takes between 45 minutes and one hour.

Entering the main camp you will witness the awful conditions in which prisoners lived during their internment. Next you see the nerve center of the camp’s SS guards.
At House of Remembrance we pay tribute to those who perished in Neuengamme, their names adorning white fabric banners in this poignant memorial space.
