The Stasi Museum is housed in the original building of the former headquarters of the Ministry of State Security. Inside, you will have the opportunity to take a closer look at how the secret Stasi police operated and see their original spying technology such as bugs and hidden cameras. You will also visit the Ministerial Offices and the office of Erich Mielke, which displays his famous red briefcase, in which he used to keep the most sensitive information. The Stasi Museum is located outside the city center so for your convenience we provide two-way tickets for public transport.
