The Grouse Grind

Hike The Grouse Grind!
Climb up 800 m in elevation on this 2.5 km long trail. It is a steep, very well maintained trail and BC's most popular hiking spot. Within minutes you are immersed in the forest, finding your own pace.
Your friendly guide is there for motivation and moral support. Take as many breaks as you like, this is not a race.

You need at least moderate fitness level to reach the top and you will still be tired when you arrive - but the feeling of achievement is worth all effort! Bring shoes for hiking and a water bottle!

You can opt out of this hike by chosing the uphill gondola ticket option instead and have more time to explore the mountain top. Our guide will check in with you before and during the hike.

Grouse Mountain

Enjoy the views from the top of Grouse Mountain and discover what the mountain has to offer.
A cafe with panorama terrace invites for a snack or lunch. Several shows are being offered every day, weather permitting. This includes nature shows (owl talk, bird in motion) or comedic shows (lumberjack show). The schedule varies daily.
Grouse Mountain is also home to our two resident grizzly bears Grinder and Coola. Watch them play, eat or chill in their habitat on top of the mountain.

Grouse Mountain Skyride

Glide down in style in the brand new grouse mountain skyride gondola. Again you will enjoy breathtaking views. If you had hiked down the mountain, now it's time to sit back and relax and make it down the 800 m elevation in under 10 minutes.

Capilano Suspension Bridge Park

Enter the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park and explore all it has to offer. Of clurse you will want to crossthe iconic Capilano Suspension Bridge, spanning 137 m log and 70 m high over Capilano River. This forest tree top bridge offers a unique perspective of the surrounding natural beauty, complemented by trails, treetop walkways and a captivating history of the area.
The park offers an outdoor cafe, a gift shop, a food vendor, a fudge store and washrooms. A cliff-walk offer a great photo of the canyon with the suspension bridge in the background.
