Lake Minnewanka

Lake Minnewanka is shaped like a reverse S. It is Banff’s biggest Lake and is the longest and deepest lake in Banff National Park, reaching a depth of 150 meters at its deepest point. You will cross nearly half of the 22-kilometer lake during the one-hour cruise. In the winter, it's a well-liked spot for ice skating, taking pictures, and snowshoeing on the nearby paths. The Banff Gondola is an easy method to get to the summit of Sulphur Mountain. The Banff Gondola trip up Sulphur Mountain takes eight minutes and is one of the best things to do in Banff.
