Lake Louise Winter Hiking and Adventure Tour

Start your day with our expert tour guides offering a stress-free pick-up. Travel in our spacious vans as we make our way to Johnston Canyon and Lake Louise! The hike at Johnston Canyon takes you through a winter wonderland, with the scenic trail leading to the Lower Falls. Enjoy your guided hike here and then either return to the vehicle or continue your hike to the Upper Falls, where you'll be rewarded with stunning views of towering frozen waterfalls. We'll then travel along the scenic Bow Valley Parkway to take in the views of Morant's Curve while having an opportunity to spot some wildlife along the way. Upon arrival at Lake Louise, your guide will highlight information and activities to enhance your visit. Enjoy two hours of leisure time the way you want. Choose from a number of adventurous activities or unwind at the Fairmont Chateau. We'll then enjoy the return back to Banff, Havier Heights, and Canmore to start drop-offs to conclude the magical day!

Ice skate on the frozen lake, hike or snowshoe the snowy trails, or try cross-country skiing in the beautiful winter landscape. Perhaps you’d prefer to show your Canadian spirit by strapping on your skates and embracing our nation’s favorite pastime — ice hockey! Prefer to be warm and cozy? Visit the gift shop or dine in one of the great restaurants inside the historic Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.

The hiking at Johnston Canyon takes you through a winter wonderland, with the scenic trail leading to the Lower Falls, where frozen icicles and ice formations create a magical atmosphere. Enjoy your guided hike to the lower falls and either return to the vehicle for included hot chocolate, tea or coffee, or continue your hike to the Upper Falls, where you'll be rewarded with stunning views of towering ice sculptures and the incredible snow-covered canyon. It's a breathtaking adventure through one of the most beautiful spots in the Canadian Rockies, perfect for unforgettable memories and photos.
