The experience begins with a shuttle from the Columbia Icefield Discovery Centre, followed by a 1 km interpretive walkway featuring exhibits on geology, wildlife, and glaciology. At the end of the path, visitors step onto the curved glass platform that extends 35 meters (115 feet) from the cliff's edge. Designed to be both safe and accessible, the Skywalk allows guests to feel as if they are walking on air above one of the Rockies’ most dramatic landscapes.
