Great Ocean Road Gourmet Food Tour

This tour is for the foodies!
You will see all the best natural highlights of the Great Ocean Road while you eat and drink your way along one of Australia's most famous coastlines!
The tour includes a morning stop for chocolate tasting (and coffee!) at the Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie and Ice Creamery.

We then continue along the Great Ocean Road with its twists and turns and stunning coastal scenery with a stop to walk along the beach at the seaside town of Lorne.

Each guest receives a Lobster (Southern Crayfish) and chips (or other seafood) from the Apollo Bay Fisherman's Co-op where fresh seafood arrives daily.

After lunch will visit the famous Dooley's Ice Creamery for a chance to purchase ice cream (try the vegemite ice cream if you dare).

Visit the spectacular 12 Apostles and stroll along the boardwalk with incredible views.

Finish the day with dinner and a relaxed gin (or whisky) tasting at the cute seaside town of Port Campbell before we head back to Melbourne.

Sample a generous variety of coverture chocolates and learn about the history and production of cocoa in this exclusive and private tasting class. Guest will also have ample time for shopping and to purchase a coffee/tea to start the day.

Lorne Beach

Visit the Great Ocean Road's most popular and spectacular surf beach to dip your toes in the water (and swim during summer!) or visit the township for shopping and souvenirs.

Take a short walk amongst the gum tress to spot wild koalas!

Lunch by the ocean! Each guest receives a "fishermen's basket" of locally caught fish and chips and option to purchase other fresh seafood. Alternatives available for dietery requirements.

Dooley's Premium Ice Cream

After lunch take a walk into the main street to purchase an ice cream from this award winning ice creamery! There are many flavours to choose from - try the Vegemite ice cream if you dare!

The Twelve Apostles

Take a walk along the boardwalks overlooking the world famous 12 Apostles from various vantage points. Option to take a helicopter flight over the Apostles also available.
