Explore Art Deco Sydney: A Walking Tour Through The 1920s And 30sAre you a fan of Art Deco, that elegant style so evocative of the 1920s and 30s? Sydney, the sparkling harbour city, is blessed with a large number of beautiful Art Deco buildings. Join us on a 3 hour walk around the CBD to visit them and discover a fascinating aspect of Sydney's history and architecture that you won't get from other tours.
Our walk starts at Circular Quay, then winds its way south via Macquarie Street to Martin Place, the down to York St and finishes up at Wynyard.
There is a short break for coffee and cookies (supplied), plus you also get a set of illustrated notes to take home. Learn about Art Deco, the history of Sydney in the early 20th century, and see some great architecture.
Note we won't have time to go inside the buildings we visit, we'll just be admiring the exteriors.
