Melbourne NGV Art Appreciation Tour

Guests will benefit from an immersive learning experience about the main Western art movements featured in NGV, including Byzantine, Renaissance, Mannerism, Baroque, Rococo, Romanticism, Realism, and Impressionism. They will also admire paintings by world-renowned artists such as Titian, Rembrandt, François Boucher, El Greco, Jan Brueghel, Tiepolo, Monet, Pissarro, Dali, and Picasso.
At the end of the tour, you will go away not only having experienced an exhilarating and fulfilling day at NGV, in an unhurried fashion with delicious food; but also with a new eye for art, with specific skills to fuel a new passion in you to visit, see, analyse and appreciate art wherever you travel in the future. You will experience the thrill of being able to identify the art genre and make an educated guess about who the painter might be when you see other western historical paintings in the future.
