Seal Island Boat Tour From Victor Harbor

Departing from the Encounter Bay Boat Ramp, a scenic cruise takes you around Encounter Bay & to Seal Rock/Island. See Long Nosed Fur seals & Australian Sea Lions basking in the sun, often swimming to the stationary boat to have a good look at the passengers! Seabirds including petrels, shear-waters & cormorants can be seen along with Common & Bottle-nose dolphins, often in the vicinity. View wildlife & beautiful scenery at Seal Rock & around Wright Island, with dolphins occasionally racing the boat before returning to the Encounter Bay Boat Ramp landing.

At Victor Harbor the boat tour departs from the Encounter Bay Boat Ramp

The causeway in Victor Harbor is currently being re-built & we've moved our boarding location until the completion of construction.
Tour itineraries will remain unchanged with departures from the Boat Ramp
Booking name required at time of boarding the boat as proof of purchase.
Please be at the departure point 15 minutes before departure time.
During School and public holiday weekends please allow extra time for car parking.
Please adhere to parking signage & restrictions.
Vessel will depart at departure time shown, no refunds will be given for missed bookings or late arrivals
Minimum age on all tours is 2 years (due to Safety)
During whale watch season (June-September), where possible, the Southern Ocean Adventure Tour will include whale watching. If there are no whales present we will endeavor to include other wildlife sightings, such as seals and dolphins. Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed. Marine Mammal watching regulations require a minimum distance of 300 metres from whales in the Encounter Marine Park.

All ticket sales are final and not refundable. Reservations cannot be changed, rescheduled or refunded once confirmed. Reservations may be re-scheduled by the operator of the activity due to reasons such as weather, minimum participation requirements, mechanical issues or other interruptions beyond their control.

All gift certificate sales are final and not refundable. Gift certificates can only be exchanged prior to redemption.

Big Duck Boat Tours offer ocean adventures departing VictorHarbor or ex Adelaide CBD (same day transfer) to the beautiful south coast ofthe Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia, little more than 1 hr south ofAdelaide. Tours visit otherwise inaccessible areas of coastline, islands andbeaches to discover Seals, Dolphins, Seabirds and Whales (in season) in theirnatural environment.

Passengers experience the Southern Ocean and learn abouthistory, geography and wildlife through an informative commentary provided by afriendly and knowledgeable Captain and Crew.

The Big Duck is a purpose-built rigid inflatable boat withfull sun protection, comfortable seating for up to 38 passengers, on-boardtoilet, and the highest level of safety equipment with spray jackets provided.Tours depart from and return to Victor Harbor’s Encounter Bay Boat Ramp.
