Fishing the Broadwater is an activity for up to 8 people and is a great way to see a different part of the Gold Coast. We will take SHARED BOOKINGS of 'Beachcomber' of up to 8 people to try various fishing techniques to help you with your catch - chasing species such as Flathead, Bream, Whiting, Flounder and Squid within the sheltered waters of the Gold Coast's Broadwater.
Its a great family friendly outing too.. perfect for the school holidays!

What to Bring:
- Personal Sunscreen
- Hat & sunglasses
- Camera (if you require it)
- Weather - appropriate clothing / warm jacket in winter / swimwear
- Any specific medications/dietary options/other food you wish to bring
- We supply plenty of bottled water on board for drinking
There is a toilet on board.
Day out includes snacks, bottled water and soft drink refreshments
We will contact you the night before – prior to 7pm - if the weather forecast is not looking ideal to discuss options. We use a range of forecasting tools to try and predict what the weather will be doing and to provide you the most notice in the case that we cancel a charter.
Cancellations & Refunds
Reservation Changes, Cancellations & Refunds
Changes to reservations for tickets can be made until 8 days prior to the date scheduled. Reservations may be re-scheduled by the operator of the activity due to reasons such as weather, minimum participation requirements, mechanical issues or other interruptions beyond their control.
All gift certificate sales are final and not refundable. Gift certificates can only be exchanged prior to redemption.

Hello, we are 'Beachcomber Charters' offering families a fantastic day of boating on the Gold Coast's Broadwater. Hosted by two crew: ‘Beachcomber’ is an 8.86metre (almost 30 foot) Cairns Custom Craft aluminium boat with a cruising speed of 20 knots.
'Beachcomber' is a comfortable classically styled boat, perfect for small gatherings of family and friends. We have ample shade covering, side clears that drop down to provide protection if the wind picks up, we have a private marine toilet on board, we also supply a large cooler box with complimentary soft drinks, bottled water and plenty of ice for BYO refreshments for our guests.
We offer the Private 'Day out on the Water' package, where we can cruise to an Island such as South Stradbroke or Wavebreak, where guests can choose to go snorkelling, fishing, or floating on our Aqual Lily pad as we tie it up beside 'Beachcomber'. A fabulous memory making event for visitors to the Gold Coast. You may even find yourself swimming with dolphins as our recent guests experienced! Guests can choose to BYO food, or choose from options listed in Extras.
We also offer both Private and Shared Broadwater Fishing Charters, perfect for families and friends who want to relax on a comfortable vessel for 5 hours of calm water fishing.
And for guess who want a shorter cruise, our Sunset Cruise with a choice of a gourmet platter is also available.
And 'yes', we do have a toilet on board!
