We’ll kick off the day with freshly brewed coffee and pastries — a relaxed moment to meet, settle in, and get to know each other before leaving the city behind.
** We’ll choose a bakery based on your pickup location and the direction we’re heading — just to save time and make the most of our day. For the same reason, we’ll grab already baked goodies — think freshly baked pastries, muffins, banana bread, and great coffee to kick off the day. Yum!

We’ll take the scenic route to Hunter Valley via the iconic Tourist Drive 33 — a beautiful beginning to a day designed for connection, curiosity, and slowing down — just winding roads, open skies, and changing landscapes that set the tone for the day ahead.
With a small group and a flexible approach, this experience feels more like a road trip with new friends than a typical tour. It's all about the kind of travel that leaves room for stories, spontaneity, and soul.

Our first winery stop is a peaceful, boutique gem nestled among the vines — a place where time slows down and the winemaker might be the one pouring your glass. I choose wineries that care about craft, not crowds — no rushed tastings or tour buses, just real conversations and quality wine made with heart.
Next, we visit a second boutique winery that also features an art gallery. As you take in the creative surroundings and sweeping views, we’ll enjoy a relaxed cheese tasting made with locally sourced produce — a moment to savour the flavours and the atmosphere.

We leave space for spontaneous stops if something catches our eye — as long as time allows, so we don’t miss the sunset! If the weather isn’t ideal, we simply tweak the day and spend a little more time exploring Hunter’s hidden gems.

Wollombi, New South Wales

We continue to the historic village of Wollombi, a picturesque town rich in colonial and Aboriginal history. We’ll stop for a late lunch or early dinner at the iconic Wollombi Tavern, established in 1868 — a rustic country pub known for its hearty meals, cold drinks, and authentic charm.

To wrap up the day, we head off the beaten path — literally — driving along an unsealed road into Yengo National Park. It’s a touch of adventure that leads us to a hidden lookout known mostly to locals. With sweeping views over sacred Aboriginal land, it’s a peaceful and powerful spot to watch the sky turn golden. And yes, you’ll definitely spot kangaroos — no maybes about it.
