Kakadu National Park, Small Group Day Tour, Yellow Water CruiseOur adventure begins just after breakfast at 6:30am, its a 3 hour drive before we arrive at the lush landscapes of Kakadu National Park.
Morning Tea is enjoyed at the wetlands bird hide, you’ll spot a variety of monsoonal tropical birds.
The Ubirr Aboriginal Rock Art Gallery is filled with paintings dating back over 20,000 years. Ancient stories are etched in vibrant ochre on the rocks. Explore the gallery and / or take the optional hike to the top of the Ubirr lookout for a 360 view over the vast floodplains and rugged escarpments, before we sit down for an incredible lunch.
Yellow Water River Cruise is an award-winning cruise, which allows you to explore the heart of Kakadu’s wetlands in comfort, where the magic of the park truly comes alive. As you glide along the water, you will spot salt water crocodiles, an array of wetlands water birds including the famous Jabiru, water buffalo, wild horses, wild pigs, egrets and kingfishers.
