We take you on an adventure around the Whitsundays to visit some of the best-kept secrets, such as the Whitsunday Gold Coffee plantation, Cedar Creek Falls, Georges retro 50's American Diner, and Northerlies Beach Bar.

You will experience the beauty of the Conway Valley and see the ancient rainforest and lush farming land. See the wildlife like Turtles, Fish, and Goannas, but if you are lucky, you might even see a croc!

This tour is great for everyone, old and young alike.

Walk around the magnificent pathways, and take in the sights, the plants, and the animal life as you discover what is in the Menagerie.

Cedar Creek Falls

Tucked away behind a curtain of trees and rocks, this hidden gem is like a well-kept secret waiting to be discovered. Follow the winding path and let the lush trees and bushes guide you to this breathtaking oasis. Surrounded by majestic cedar trees and a towering rocky wall, Cedar Creek will take your breath away with its natural beauty.
Cedar Creek Falls is a natural waterhole that’s stunning year-round but truly comes alive after a refreshing downpour. Take a refreshing shower under the cool waterfall, or plunge into the crystal-clear water for a revitalising swim. You’ll be surrounded by a vibrant ecosystem of birds, butterflies, and diverse flora and fauna that will delight all your senses.

George’s Diner

Step back in time as we visit George's Diner, a retro 1950's 1950s-inspired American diner at the beautiful Conway Beach Big 4 caravan park.
This hidden gem is truly a unique experience that even some of the locals don't know about. It is here that we buy your lunch.

Northerlies Beach Bar & Grill - Airlie Beach

Set right on the water, Northerlies is a local favourite and hidden gem just outside of Airlie Beach. The Moon family opened the doors to one of the most iconic venues in the Whitsundays, Northerlies Beach Bar & Grill. The restaurant was built around the family’s love for all things nautical. They saved old boats destined for destruction and recommissioned them as nautical interest points throughout the grounds.
One of the main architectural attractions is the restaurant bar, which was rebuilt from a retired prawn trawler from Bundaberg, QLD. You’ll also find refurbished jetty poles from Shute Harbour, scatterings of rope, anchors, and old steering wheels built into the backdrop.

The coconut trees you’ll see here were originally from the set of Pirates of the Caribbean when it was filmed on Whitehaven Beach. Once filming was done and dusted, the trees needed to be removed, so they opted to re-plant them here, to live forever on the Freedom Shores grounds.
