The Big Swing is one of the world’s highest cable gorge swings and launches off the top of a waterfall.
The experience is very different to a bungee-jump because participants freefall for 70m before the jump rope pulls them into a high-speed arch and they swing from one side of the gorge to the other. When falling, they reach 140km/h in three seconds!
442 stairs ascending through the gorge and into the trees will take you back up to the top. Enjoy the stunning and unusual plants and bird life, as well as a few old car wrecks. To complement the Swing, enjoy THE EDGE BAR, the multi-tiered deck on the opposite side of the gorge allows you to sit back and purchase a drink while watching the jumpers!
An entrance fee of R30 for adults and R20 for children must be paid upon arrival, including spectators.
The maximum weight on a tandem is 135kg but the Swing can handle this weight tenfold.
There are 4 dynamic ropes each consisting of a 25-ton breaking strain and they stretch 23% of the jump. These ropes and all other equipment are inspected on a daily basis. We run at 110% safety!

The Edge Bar is a multi-tiered deck on the opposite side of the gorge, available for you to sit back and purchase a drink while watching the jumpers.

Changes to reservations for tickets can be made until 30 days prior to the date scheduled. Reservations may be re-scheduled by the operator of the activity due to reasons such as weather, minimum participation requirements, mechanical issues or other interruptions beyond their control.
All gift certificate sales are final and not refundable. Gift certificates can only be exchanged prior to redemption.
