Experience the thrill of being close to these magnificent creatures; witness their intelligence, their compassionate nature and the deep bonds they share with their human family. While the Elephant Handlers share their wealth of knowledge about fascinating elephant behavior, enjoy a wonderful hour of touching and feeding the elephants, taking photographs and experiencing the incredible trust that has developed through gentle interaction.
After the interaction, set off into the African bush on an elephant for wonderful views of the elephant’s home. During the ride you are able to stop at any time to experience walking with the elephants.
After your elephant experience, enjoy a delicious 3-course lunch at Hippo Hollow Country Estate.
Please note that children under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who is over 21 years of age. Guests will be given a safety briefing and will be required to sign an indemnity before meeting the Elephants.
It is advisable to use mosquito repellent in the early mornings and late afternoons.
Changes to reservations for tickets can be made until 16 days prior to the date scheduled. Reservations may be re-scheduled by the operator of the activity due to reasons such as weather, minimum participation requirements, mechanical issues or other interruptions beyond their control.
