This cruise boards at the Southern Empress Lakeside Condominium. By coming aboard, you'll enjoy: the three decks of the Southern Empress, dinner on the main deck; then the party is on the Magnolia Deck, where the DJ keeps the good times going; the cash bar will make your favorite libation, then stroll outside on the Texas and Hurricane deck, and watch the lake slide by, is yet another natural sweet treat.
Sail the open waters of Lake Conroe for an evening of relaxing fun. The Southern Empress pulls out all the stops as you step aboard for a cruise around Lake Conroe. Dine on Lake Conroe and watch the Sunset on the Lake as you coast the waters of Lake Conroe on out 1800's style Stern-wheeler Paddle Boat.

Our 375 passenger Stern wheeler was built in 1983 in a Mississippi shipyard. It was cut into sections and transported by 27 semi trucks to the captive waters of Lake Conroe. After being reassembled and touched up, The Southern Empress launched as one of the lake’s most recognizable icons. Enjoy 3 course from scratch meals on our coveted dinner cruise. The Dinner Cruise lasts for three hours and offers a unique experience every time. Dance the evening away afterward on the second floor with live entertainment or a DJ to spin your favorites or saunter to the third deck for a romantic even breath taking views of Lake Conroe. Our premium bar can make almost any libation with or without alcohol. The Southern Empress has been featured in many blogs and magazines.
