This three-hour kayaking adventure just outside Orlando is the perfect way for families to experience the Wekiva River. You’ll be provided with your kayaks at Wilson's Landing Park with a brief lesson and safety session, before taking to the water. This kayaking activity is all about fun, so as well as a bit of leisurely paddling, kids will also love getting to spot the local wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for river otters, alligators, turtles, large wading birds, deer, wild boar, and maybe even a magnificent manatee or black bear. The highlight of this tour is when you reach the crystal-clear spring run where you can choose to have a refreshing swim, or snorkel for fossils! Enjoy a picnic lunch on the bank by the spring before a gentle downstream paddle back to base.

We begin with some basic kayak instruction, introduction to the area, and going over safety on the water. Once on the water we search out all the amazing wildlife that make the Wekiva River home. Expect to see otter, alligators, turtles, giant wading birds, deer, and wild boar. On some days we will even come across manatees and black bear! The highlight for most guests is paddling the crystal clear spring run then getting out for a swim and snorkeling for fossils. Lunch is served picnic style at the spring. The last hour of the tour is gently floating downstream wishing the day would never end.
