On this four hour tour, you'll be guided by an expert tutor and learn the elements of a great picture while taking in Perth’s best and lesser known sights. Using Perth as your backdrop, this small group tour is the perfect way to learn photography basics. Over the course of four hours, your group will cover shutter speed, ISO, white balance, metering and photo composition, and put these new skills into practice by taking pics of Perth’s mix of architecture, its hidden laneways, vibrant street art, and open parks. Your guide is not only a professional photographer, but an expert tour guide too, and will be happy to answer questions and provide tips to help you capture great pictures.
A half day photo tour around the streets of Perth is a great way to get to know the city better, and makes a perfect experience gift for budding photographers.

We will be exploring and photographing the laneways, street art, architecture, parks and the streets of Perth. We will go over the basics of photography, putting them in to practice as we walk. We will cover aperture, shutter speed, ISO, white balance and metering as well as how to compose stronger images taking your photographs to another level.
There is a fair distance to walk (approximately 4km) but there is plenty to photograph along the way. At the mid point we will stop for morning tea (a drink and cake is included) and have a chance for feedback and discussion on what we have done so far. Our aim we will be to finish at St George's Cathedral or Elizabeth Quay but it will depend the how much time we spend taking pictures along the way.

Children under 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Non photographers (someone attending with no camera) are welcome to accompany the photographer and enjoy a slower paced tour. The morning tea is included.
Changes to reservations for tickets can be made until 8 days prior to the date scheduled. Reservations may be re-scheduled by the operator of the activity due to reasons such as weather, minimum participation requirements, mechanical issues or other interruptions beyond their control.

Anna-Mair Francis is an internationally known award winning photographer. She has had many of her photographs published and held many successful exhibitions, selling her work to clients both locally and overseas.
We have been exploring and researching Western Australia for many years and all of our tours have been extensively researched and chosen for their uniqueness or what they have to offer photographically. We have taken care to be at the right locations when the light is at its best, giving you the best opportunities to get great shots.
Whilst our tours are aimed at photographers non-photographers are welcome to join us to discover the great areas that we venture to.
