A lunch full of locally grown ingredients is provided at a mountainside cafe, before you visit Tamborine Mountain Distillery for a tour of their production areas and a chance to sample their award-winning gin. Throughout the day you’ll also learn more about the Tamborine Township and have the opportunity to hit the shops in Tamborine Mountain village.

Your Tamborine Mountain journey of discovery begins with a visit to a working coffee plantation where you will learn the secret of making the perfect brew. Stop to take in the breathtaking view at Rotary Lookout, before arriving at a special lunch venue, located in the art and nature precinct of Tamborine Mountain. Taste delicious local produce accompanied by a glass of beer, wine or juice as you learn the workings of this sustainable mountain cafe.
You will get to discover the lush subtropical rainforests where the crew will tell you about the forest’s unique characteristics, how the Aboriginal people gathered food from the forest floor and the animals and birds that call the area home.
Tamborine Village is the next stop where you will have free time to browse the shops along Gallery Walk, Tamborine Mountain’s arts and crafts precinct with locally made items including wine. (wine and beer tasting at your own cost).
Lastly you will get to discover a family owned distillery where you will get a personalised behind the scenes tour and taste the award winning local gins.

What to bring:
Comfortable walking shoes, a jacket, hat, water bottle.
Our rainforest walks require a low to moderate degree of fitness and follow clearly marked paths and boardwalks. Enclosed shoes are recommended.
Additional note:
All of the staff vehicles carry umbrellas, insect repellent and first aid kits. Your guides have all relevant permits, training and authorisation to ensure a safe, comfortable journey. This is an all age tour. Should you require a booster seat for younger family members, it can be provided for them at no extra charge – just let the crew know in advance.
This tour requires a minimum of 6 passengers to go ahead. If the tour does not meet this requirement, the tour will be rescheduled.
Changes to reservations for tickets can be made until 7 days prior to the date scheduled. Reservations may be re-scheduled by the operator of the activity due to reasons such as weather, minimum participation requirements, mechanical issues or other interruptions beyond their control.
