You'll immerse yourself in the dolphin's underwater world on a four hour cruise, travelling on the first vessel in South Australia to be given a license to swim alongside these amazing animals. Your truly special encounter begins when you board your vessel, a 58ft catamaran offering 360 views across the ocean and guided by a friendly crew of marine biologists. It's specially designed to travel smoothly over the waves so you'll reach open waters quickly and comfortably. Along the way you'll be kitted out with everything you need to enjoy your underwater interaction. Uniquely, this cruise offers a chance to swim from both the front and back of the boat to give you up close views of the dolphins as they interact with each other and you, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Temptation is the first vessel in South Australia to be given a license to swim with and study these magnificent mammals and has been operating successful dolphin swim and watch tours from Glenelg since 2002.
This is possibly the only cruise of its type, where we don't go to the dolphins, they come us, something has taken many cruise to achieve.
We offer two different swim experiences during our Wild Dolphin Cruise. A Front Swim and a Back Swim. During a typical tour, customers will get the opportunity to try both swim experiences.
Front Swim Experience:
Lay down and feel as if you're a part of the dolphin pod, our Front Swim is an experience you don't want to miss.
Our custom made Front Swim net is secured between the bows of Temptation and allows customers to experience wild dolphin swimming within arms length, playing and socialising on the bow of Temptation
Back Swim Experience:
Submerge yourself in the water with our Back Swim Experience, an amazing way to view wild dolphins in their natural habitat.
Our Back Swim Experience allows customers to interact with dolphins from a truly unique perspective. Jump in and hold on to our mermaid lines off the back of the vessel and enjoy amazing interactions our wild dolphins offer.

**Please note: We operate both swim experiences throughout our Wild Dolphin Cruise and rotate customers between the Front Swim and Back Swim Experiences to evenly spread interaction time with the Dolphins. Children from the age of 9 years old are allowed to swim**

Temptation has a full bar onboard so please no BYO. You can however bring food onboard. Temptation is a stable catamaran, therefore the most stable vessel on the water. However, if you are concerned about experiencing sea sickness we recommend purchasing medication from a chemist. We recommend taking 30 minutes prior to the cruise.

Changes to reservations for tickets can be made until 2 days prior to the date scheduled. Reservations may be re-scheduled by the operator of the activity due to reasons such as weather, minimum participation requirements, mechanical issues or other interruptions beyond their control.
All gift certificate sales are final and not refundable. Gift certificates can only be exchanged prior to redemption.

Temptation Sailing
Temptation was designed and built in 1999 by the original owners, Stephen and Karen Waites to do snorkelling trips out to the Great Barrier Reef in Queensland. Temptation was being built during the same period as the Glenelg Marina Pier was being developed. Coincidentally, both the Marina and Temptation were completed around the same time and it was decided that Temptation would be taken to the new Marina facility as the only operating charter vessel. Upon an initial year of success, Temptation found its new home in the Glenelg Marina Pier and has been running tours since 2000.
