Gratuity for the crew is not included in the ticket price and may be offered at the end of the tour.

Please check in with our dockside agent 30 minutes prior to your departure!

The boat leaves promptly at the scheduled departure time and does not wait for latecomers. 

Manhattan by Sail reserve the right to release your reserved space 15 minutes prior to departure, if you have not yet checked in with a dockside agent or contacted the office.

The Clipper City tall ship is located at the end of the pier around the corner. The ship may not have arrived at the pier, but the correct dock is labeled with the "Manhattan By Sail" sign located at the entrance to the dock.

Please bring a photo ID.

There are places to sit on the boat, though we cannot guarantee a proper seat for every person on board. We operate historic boats with authentic on-deck fixtures - many people wander around in order to take in the sights and others take right to the deck like a picnic.

The temperature can be cooler out on the water so dress accordingly. Hats and sunscreen are recommended on summer days.

Reservations are non-refundable.

Up to 48 hours prior to departure time, customers may call or email (212-619-6900/reservations@manhattanbysail.com) to reschedule, based on availability, at no additional charge. (72 hours for groups of 10 people or more).

Within 48 hours, a $20 per passenger surcharge will be applied due to upfront production costs associated with events.

No shows and last-minute cancellations within 2 hours of departure will result in forfeiture of ticket and all paid value associated with reservation.

All gift certificate sales are final and not refundable. Gift certificates can only be exchanged prior to redemption.
