Don’t threat, this is followed by a relaxing float back, where you’ll have time to spot the abundant wildlife, such as turtles, birds, otters, deer and of course the fish swimming below your feet! There will be several stopping points along the way where participants can get out for a swim if they wish – and we recommend doing so in that hot Florida sunshine.

About This Trip
- This 2-2.5 hour guided adventure includes an intermediate paddle upstream with a relaxing drift back to the launch site.
- Each tandem kayak fits 2 people
- There are several deeper areas where participants can take a quick swim if they choose. Nature surrounds the clear spring water everywhere you turn.
- Be on the lookout for many different species of birds, plants, turtles, fish, otters, alligators and more!
- Water may turn tannic in color (but still clear) on occasion due to excess rains.
Weight Limit
- The weight limit is 425 pounds per boats and no more than 250 pounds per seat. Each of our kayaks are doubles (tandem).

Activity FAQs
WHAT SHOULD I BRING ON MY KAYAK TOUR?
Water
Swimsuit/Clothes that you don’t mind getting a little wet. The paddles will drip a little bit of water into the boat so a change of clothes may be necessary afterwards .We will also have the opportunity to get out of the kayaks and in the water so a bathing suit is recommended.
Sunscreen/sunglasses/hat. Please apply prior to entering the boat and allow it to dry as best as possible.
Shoes that can get wet/sandals (we do not allow these to be worn in the boat as they may scratch the kayaks).
Towel for after the trip. Ziplock bag to store any items you wish to take on the boat.
Any extra gear you’d like. Remember- the less gear, the more visibility through the kayak.
ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED ON THE TOUR?
Children are allowed but required by law at age 7 or under to wear life jackets at all times on the water. The ability of your child to sit in a kayak for the duration of our tour is completely up to the parent. We do require children that are 50 pounds or under to bring their own life jacket as the size is very specific and safety is of utmost important.
DO WE NEED TO KNOW HOW TO SWIM?
It is not required but we do ask that you are comfortable on the water. We do provide life jackets for all guests to ensure an extra level of safety as well.
All kayaks are tandem. Any parties with an odd number of guests can use the kayak as a solo to accommodate the additional guest.
Anyone under the age of 18 must be supervised and a parent/guardian must be present to sign a waiver.
Please note that no two combined paddlers can be over 425 pounds.
All ticket sales are final and not refundable. Reservations cannot be changed, rescheduled or refunded once confirmed. Reservations may be re-scheduled by the operator of the activity due to reasons such as weather, minimum participation requirements, mechanical issues or other interruptions beyond their control.
