Dolphin Watching Tour in Melbourne Florida

What wildlife do we see on the trip?
 

On this Eco-Tour, you will see dolphins, manatees, wild birds, heron, osprey, brown pelicans, and over 4400 species of fish and birds.

Where exactly do we go on the cruise?

We will travel south on the Indian River along Merritt Island around Historic Dragon Point. And sail on into the Banana River and see The Eau Gallie Yacht Club and The Mathers Turn Bridge, plus magnificent multi-million dollar homes.

Is the boat wheelchair accessible?

Yes, the boat is equipped with a ramp that allows for wheelchair access.

Are wildlife sightings guaranteed?

Sighting are not guaranteed, but there is an extremely high chance of seeing dolphins on our Eco-Tour. In the past 12 years, there have been only 2 times that we have not seen any dolphins on the cruise. We usually see manatees consistently in March through October (about 70% of the time. These sightings occur a little less often than dolphin sightings because manatees do not come out of the water as much.)

How far do we go out?

The cruise does not go out to the ocean. We stay in the intercoastal waters and are always about 1000 ft from the shore.

How close do we get to the animals?

We get really close to the animals! The dolphins often come up to look at the boat and passengers as we cruise down the river.

Are food and drinks served on the trip?

Food and drinks are not included in the price of the ticket. However, snacks and drinks are available on board for purchase. Options include chips, water, soda, etc.

Is alcohol allowed on board?

Yes, you can bring alcohol including liquor and glass containers.

Is there shade on the boat?

Yes, the boat is fully covered.

Will i get seasick from this cruise?

No, we offer a very calm ride on the intracoastal waters. Since we don't go out into the ocean, you don't have to worry about a lot of turbulent motion or seasickness.

Is the boat safe?

Yes, our boat is very safe and US Coast Guard certified. Live vests are available on board but passengers are not required to wear them during the cruise.
