We craft one adventure per day just for the small groups on board and the unique goings on in the City. That means the itinerary is open - we will always stop at San Francisco’s classic landmarks like the Golden Gate Bridge and Twin Peaks and typically roll through neighborhoods like North Beach, Pacific Heights, Haight-Ashbury, Castro, Mission, and the Embarcadero.

We will also leave the big buses behind to explore street-art alleys in the Mission, mosaic-decorated stairways in the Sunset, the laid-back outdoor vibe of the Presidio, the Beaux-Arts beauty of City Hall, the famous “Painted Ladies” at Alamo Square, or even go down the real crookedest street in San Francisco (it’s not Lombard Street!)

It all depends on what your group is interested in and what is best just for that day. After a quick lunch stop in a local neighborhood along the way, your experience on land will end with drop off at Pier 39. There, you will set your sights on the Bay Voyager 90 minute excursion.

Bay Voyager will outfit you with foul weather gear (to keep you warm and dry from the occasional splash), and then you will board their small vessel to explore under the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges, along the cityfront, and back to our homeport for a quick visit to the world famous Pier 39 Sea Lions! No need for binoculars on this trip, we see it all up close!

Narrated by your Captain, you’ll learn something new about the historic Bay area, and view the waterfront in a way unlike any other! Take photos, make memories and see it all up close. Travel faster, farther and closer to the sights than any tour boat on the bay! See Fort Point, the Golden Gate Bridge and other highlights of your morning tour from a whole new perspective.

From there you can enjoy Pier 39 and Fisherman’s Wharf at your leisure before easily making your own way back to your accommodations by streetcar, cable car, bus or rideshare.
